Pictures from owners - Abyssinians  (4)

Thank you to Joan for these beautiful pictures of Hector.  He's looking stunning!

Liz and John, thank you for the wonderful photos you sent of Jody and Jeffrey, and also you're very kind words: ' We both want to thank you again for allowing us to have Jeffrey & Jojo. We could have only dreamed of having two such wonderful kitties, but thanks to yours and Ellie's wonderful skills of nurturing you have made them the amazing companions that they are today. We will always be thankful for meeting you and Derek.'

Thank you to Julia and Chris for this beautiful picture of  Jambi (was Ernest) - he's looking gorgeous!

A huge thank you to Sarah, Georgina and Amelia for these lovely pictures, above, of Jemima and Jasper.  Sarah said 'The kittens…. Well what can I say. They are a total delight to us.  Their antics are a constant source of amusement...... The two of them are SO inquisitive and it makes them such LOVELY companions – I could not recommend the breed more and likewise the breeder! Both Eloise and yourself could not, I feel sure have produced more  easygoing, affectionate, utterly delightful kittens and I am grateful for this EVERY DAY.'

Vonnie and Jem thank you so much for these pictures of the boys on their six month old birthday:-))))  They are looking absolutely stunning.  Vonnie said ' As we sit with our two most precious boys we have to thank you just once more.  Where would we be without them.'

Thanks to Ken for these lovely pictures of Eva and Daisy.  Eva is litter sister to our Eloise (see her page on this site).  Daisy is now pregnant!:-))))  So we're looking forward to when she has her babies.  We'll be proud 'grandparents':-))))

Ei-lene, thank you so much for the pictures of Jeremy (now called Byron) with Newton, above.  Byron is having a wonderful time being taken out on his leash, along with Newton.  They've even been to Hyde Park:-))))  Ei-lene said 'It's been really lovely to have Byron, who is really a very sweet-tempered and relaxed kitten, and such a great companion to Newton too'

A big thank you to Liz and John for these lovely pictures of Jody (now called Jojo) and Jeffrey.  Liz said 'The kittens had their first visitors last weekend, my brother and his
girlfriend. They both fell in love with them and wanted to take Jojo
home with them!!! (That didn't happen though!!!)  They are an absolute delight and are so lovable. Every morning they run
into the bedroom for strokes and kisses, and they are both purring
machines!!!!

John and Jane thank you so much for this picture of Indiana and Jethro:-)))  They look very cosy and comfortable there:-))))

Thanks so much to Ei-lene for the lovely pictures of Jeremy (now called Byron) with his new friend Newton, above.  I particularly love the one of the two kittens with Arnaud, with Byron curled up on his lap:-))))

Big thanks to John and Jane for these lovely pictures of Indiana and Jethro.  We ended up keeping Indiana until he was about 18 weeks old, or something like that - quite a few weeks after his siblings went, so we'd bonded with him very much, but we're obviously missing him much more than he's missing us LOL!  He looks very settled and comfortable there along with Jethro, which is great:-))))

Thanks so much to Liz and John for the lovely pictures of Jody (now called Jojo) and Jeffrey, taken when they got to their new home.  The kittens had a mad playtime but finally flaked out LOL!  It didn't take them long to settle in LOL!  Liz said 'Again, both John & I would like to thank you both for letting us adopt
2 of your beautiful babies......they are just sooo adorable' But it's thanks to you Liz, and our other kitten owners, who make it possible for us to keep breeding these lovely kittens:-))))

Thank you Vonnie and Jem for this picture amongst others:-))))  We get quite a few people ask if it would be safe to open top windows in their home, without screens.  I think this shows the answer to that.  Vonnie and Jem don't open this window at the top, but have a screen for the bottom bit to be opened safely.  This will give people an idea of what our kittens are like and how well they take to being walked on a harness - this is what Vonnie and Jem told us about their weekend:

'On Sat. afternoon, we took them to the Roman Ruins, in St. Albans.  You would have been VERY proud of them (all your early socialising training)  The boys were saying 'hello' to anybody who stopped to admire them - fascinated by us having them on leash and harness.  Jem was busy telling the boys all about the history of the Ruins - but they got fidgety and shot off to play with crisp Autumn-orange leaves, which were dancing about their feet.  It's a very safe place to walk them, as there is a strictly 'NO DOGS' policy.  Jem had to convince the man on duty, that the boys would behave themselves!
It cost a fiver to get in........but at least the boys went for free!!!!
They had a ball!!!......'Kept on trying to scramble down fox holes!!!  Thank God they were on leads!!Yesterday, they went to Stanford Park (a bit like Grafton Waters)  We walked them around the parameter of the lakes there.  They are loving this late, warm sunshine.'
Thank you Vonnie and Jem for telling me all about this - I loved hearing it!

We did laugh at this one of Iruka and Ilo, helping with the filing:-)))))  Thanks so much, Vonnie and Jem, for the entertaining photos:-)))

Thanks to Ken for this one of Daisy and Eva.  Eva is litter sister to Eloise (Ellie - see her on our site) who now has kittens of her own.

The above pictures were taken just seven days after the kittens went to their new home with Vonnie and Jem.  The one in the middle of the lower row was taken when Vonnie's friends stayed for the weekend and Iruka immediately made himself at home on her shoulder:-))))  And not to be left out, Ilo, was in the other friend's arms. People often ask if our cats can be taken out on harnesses - and YES!  they can - as you can see above.  They take to it well.

Iggy has also settled well in his new home.  We don't have pictures yet, but his new owners have thanked us for producing such a well socialised kitten.  Iggy is having lots of fun and his new owners are delighted with him:-)))

It's hard to believe that the boys have only been in their new home for a few days here!  It took them about 10 minutes to settle in LOL!

Vonnie, and Jem, you have brought us so much joy with your comments and photos of the boys, already well settled in their new home with you.  Just a few of your comments here: ' There are not enough words to describe my sublime happiness.
The boys are a sheer delight, in every way.' and 'I know that I've said 'thank you' many times but here it comes again.  A THOUSAND THANK YOUS.........to you both, for the most precious, perfect-in-everyway, pussykittens...... We would never have considered to buy from anyone else but you guys.'  Thank YOU, Vonnie and Jem, for giving the boys such a wonderful, wonderful home!

Vonnie and Jem, thank you so much for these lovely pictures of Iruka and Ilo, taken the first night in their new home.  Your comments made us laugh so much:-))) 'After supper they had a lot of playing to catch up on and a thorough exploration took place around the whole apartment, with them either touring together and taking notes, or if they were separated, they would call to each other and to us. Finally,
the new rug in the hallway took their full attention.  Tearing up and down the hallway, they surfed it until it looked like incoming tide.  Iruka in the meantime had definitely noticed the fish - actually within about an hour of being here he was first showing interest, but as you can see from the photo attached he was quickly trying to find a way of getting closer.
' and ' The best bit was this morning while we were lazing on the sofa bed....Ilo finally came to us and showed great interest.  He crept right up to Vonnie's face and pawed gently at her eyes, tapped her on the nose and then licked her eyes! (Its OK, she did take her make up off last night, although maybe this might save her time in the future, I'll build a little shelf to sit Ilo on in the bathroom!)'
I am smiling so much about the size of the fish as well - he's bigger than Iruka LOL!

Thank you so much to Ann and David for the lovely pictures of Basil and Emily and the wonderful updates that make us laugh so much.

Chris, this picture of Amber asleep is beautiful.  Thank you very much for sending it along with the update.
