Kittens available?

We've come to the decision that we've, sadly, got to rehome one of our Ocicats (adults) because they aren't getting on with each other.  Please contact us for details.

We currently have a fawn male and a sorrel male  kitten available from Rosie's litter - see their page:   http://www.merrydancercats.btinternet.co.uk/rosies_kittens.htm

Ellie and Blakey have mated (29.8.10).  Her kittens are due around 2.11.10.  Possible colours are usual, blue, sorrel and fawn from this litter.  Usual and blue are likely to be the most predominant.

I always reply to emails so if you don't get a response to an email you've sent, then it means I haven't received your email or you haven't received my reply, so in that case please phone 01529 306563

All of our cats have now been tested or come from clear lines for  PK Deficiency, see: http://www.vgl.ucdavis.edu/services/pkdeficiency.php   They have also all been tested or come from clear lines  for PRA - see: http://www.vgl.ucdavis.edu/services/cat/pra.php

If you are looking for an Abyssinian kitten and we don't have one available on the pages where the girl's kittens are shown (see the index on the Home Page), please do feel free to contact me, because I usually know of someone who might have what you're looking for available.

Just to give people an idea of what our kittens are like, here are a few comments  from our kitten owners and there are plenty of comments on the 'pictures from owners' pages as well:

From Jayne:  he is so affectionate to me that I feel so lucky to have him. He has taken a liking to my velour cardigan he lays on it when he is on the sofa

From Mari: lots of lap sleeping from Sati and side cuddles from Finn.  Thanks to you both for allowing us to be able to share our home with two such amazing characters... They rush around like wilrwinds, playfight vigorously then settle down together or on anyone else who is available

From Andrea: Betsy has been her normal busy body self - she enjoyed helping me clear the kitchen draws and cupboards this morning.  I have her trained now and she was collecting the old plastic spoons and forks and putting them in the bin bag for me. She loves to feel she is being helpful even when she is not.

From Karen: Mazurka likes to sit on the vacuum cleaner and when the other cats go past it (who are all frightened of it) she'll press the 'on' switch so they all jump up in the air and run away while she laughs.

From Sandy: "She's really amazing.  We had no idea that cats could be so fun!  What is really surprising is her personality.  Most of the cats I've ever come in contact with were very anti-social to everyone but it's owner and I had no idea that cats could be so social and affectionate.  To have her always around us while we're going about our business is really fun.  It really makes her part of the family because she's interacting so much.

She has such a fantastic personality and is really fearless and we're so happy to have her!"

From Margaret: She likes to  play games with my daughter.  They play a game called 'bee's in the honeypot', where they take it in turns to pull a stick out.  She pulls a stick out with her front paws when it's her turn.
